Our Story
Built to one number.
Around 440 BC, the sculptor Phidias was creating the sculptures of the Parthenon in Athens. Centuries later, mathematicians named a number in his honour: φ (phi), 1.618, the golden ratio, the proportion long linked to classical art and architecture.
It also shows up in the gym. A shoulder-to-waist ratio of about 1.618 is the classic V-taper: the physique Greek sculptors carved in marble.
Phidia Athletics makes gym wear for people sculpting that shape. Every piece is cut to sharpen the taper: fitted where it should be, quiet everywhere else. No loud logos. Just a small φ on the chest and one number on the back.
